How It Works

Solar rays are reflected into the box by a mirror and absorbed by a black plate. The heat builds up and circulates via natural convection, supported by a solar-powered fan. This system gently removes moisture while maintaining nutrients and flavor.

How to Use It

1. Prep food (thinly sliced, drained, etc.).

2. Place on grids or skewers.

3. Close the top with rope to retain heat.

4. Position the dryer to face the sun and deploy the reflector.

5. Connect the solar panel to activate the fan.

6. Let it dry—times vary based on food and trays used.
