About Rural Power Solutions CC
Rural Power Solutions is a Namibian social enterprise on a mission to bring clean, affordable, and locally-relevant renewable energy technologies to underserved communities. Born out of lived experiences and driven by innovation, we design and distribute solar cookers, dryers, lighters, heaters, and other eco-friendly outdoor products tailored for rural realities.
Since 2021, we've been working to bridge the energy gap by creating sustainable alternatives to firewood and fossil fuels. With every product and project, we aim to improve health, cut costs, preserve the environment, and foster energy independence.
As of 2025, Rural Power Solutions entered into a strategic collaboration with Solar Brother, a renowned solar innovation company known for their durable, high-performance solar gadgets and educational tools. This partnership enables us not only to distribute their internationally acclaimed solar products locally, but also to co-develop new, affordable solar solutions tailored specifically for Namibian communities - making clean energy more accessible than ever.
Through this and other partnerships, we’re scaling our impact while staying rooted in community.
Meet The Founders
Ms. Cecilia Naule
- Founder & CEO
An energetic young woman from rural Namibia, Cecilia holds an honors degree in Physics and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Renewable Energy at the University of Namibia, with a research focus on Heat Storage Systems for solar cooking.
Her passion for sustainable energy and community empowerment led her to establish Rural Power Solutions in 2021. With lived experience and a deep understanding of rural challenges, she leads the company with heart, vision, and technical expertise.

Poland Michael
Co-founder: COO
Poland is a physicist and researcher with deep technical expertise in photovoltaic systems.
He holds an honors and master’s degree in Physics from the University of Namibia and he is currently pursuing his PhD in Physics at the Nelson Mandela University, with a research focus on the characterisation and performance assessment of photovoltaic (PV) modules and module strings.
He brings scientific precision and operational oversight to Rural Power Solutions
